Hello, my name is Ms. Trisha Combes. I am so excited to be going into my fourth year teaching at Hawthorn Academy.  I am excited to be moving into 2nd grade.  I have been with Hawthorn Academy for 17 years.  I started out as the 1st Grade TA, and spent years coordinating Hawthorn Academy’s Reading Intervention Program.

I graduated from Utah State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development, with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I finished the APPEL program and received my Professional Teaching License in July of 2024.

I am married to Jason and we have 2 kids, Megan and Andrew, both of which attended Hawthorn Academy for their elementary and middle school years.  I enjoy doing genealogy, reading, and my all time favorite going on vacation with my family. Our favorite place to vacation is on Balboa Island in California. We go every year in the fall.
