These programs are not provided by the school but are a list of community resources meant to support families and students in all aspects of their lives. The list is continually being updated. Utah's 5Es for Families

Families play a critical role in their child’s educational experience from preschool into adulthood. The Utah State Board of Education established the 5Es for Families to support you in creating a home environment to enrich and support your student's learning. 

SafeUT

SafeUT is a crisis chat and tip line that provides real-time crisis intervention for students, parents/guardians, and educators through live chat and a confidential tip line—right from your smartphone. You can call 833-372-3388 or click here to learn more.

Acadience Reading

Do you know what Acadience Reading is? Acadience Reading is a set of screening and progress monitoring assessments for students in grades K-6 that measures foundational reading skills like phonemic awareness, phonics, and fluency. It helps educators identify students who may need extra support and uses the data to inform instructional plans and track progress over time. Watch this video to learn more about it.

RISE

RISE (Readiness Improvement Success Empowerment) is an annual, computer-adaptive summative assessment for Utah students in grades 3 through 8. This Utah state-mandated standardized test measures students' mastery of Utah State Core Standards in English language arts, mathematics, science, and writing.

WIDA

WIDA is used to identify and annually assess the English language proficiency of English Learner (EL) students in grades K-12. Districts utilize both the WIDA Screener to initially identify students and the annual WIDA ACCESS assessment to track growth in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Parent Guide to Student Success
