Biography

Hello, my name is Meg Cunningham. I am the school social worker and I am excited to be a part of Hawthorn Academy. I was born and raised in Utah. I love living in a place with the beauty of 4 seasons. I love running races, road biking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and finding good donut shops everywhere I go.

I am married and have 3 amazing kids who keep me busy with their sports schedules and doing fun things. We enjoy going to concerts, baking, traveling, laughing and going to movies. 

I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a masters degree in Social Work both from the University of Utah. I enjoy working with kids and teaching them new skills. It’s rewarding watching them gain confidence as they practice the new skills and change behaviors. I am excited to work with a team of people who are passionate about helping kids be the best version of themselves.
