This is my eighth year teaching at Hawthorn Academy, and I truly enjoy being part of this school community. The students and parents here are absolutely top-notch!

My favorite subject to both learn and teach is math—I love the challenge and excitement it brings to the classroom.

I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education. Over the years, I’ve taught 1st, 5th, and 6th grades. This will be my second year teaching 4th grade, and I absolutely love this age group. The students are eager to learn and so much fun to work with—I’m excited for another great year!

I grew up in Richfield, Utah, and have lived in the Salt Lake Valley for the past 15 years. I have a spunky 9-year-old son named Wyatt who keeps me on my toes—he’s also in 4th grade this year!In my free time, I enjoy camping, swimming, and traveling anywhere I can. I’m also a big fan of a good Hallmark movie!
