I am very excited to be a part of the Hawthorn Academy team for a fifth year. I have enjoyed teaching at Hawthorn, and I love the sense of unity and support among the students and staff. I received my teaching degree from Brigham Young University (Go Cougars!!)  

My husband and I have been in the Salt Lake area for the last 22 years, and have 5 awesome kids (1 married and the others are keeping us busy!).  We just became grandparents and we love it!!   I enjoy traveling, swimming, camping, playing games and hanging out with my family.
