Biography

Hello! I am Laura Caldwell. Some students know me as "Miss Laura" because I've been their daycare teacher or worked with them as a TA. I adore working with young people. I come from a long line of educators, and I sincerely believe I was made for working with children. I got my degree at a small private college in Searcy, Arkansas (Harding University), and I've lived in Utah since August of 2011. My favorite color is pink, my favorite chocolate bar is a Twix, my favorite candy is cherry pull-n-peel Twizzlers, and my favorite holiday is Christmas! I have a lot of hobbies including singing, dancing, reading, and designing T-shirts. Math is a passion of mine, but more than anything I value integrity. In fact, it's my class word! As long as my students do what they know they should, I believe everything else will fall into place for them. My goal, as a teacher, is to be there for my students and help them realize their potential. I believe in them, and I want them to believe in themselves! I look forward to another wonderful year with the brilliant mathematicians in my class!
