Several years ago, when her youngest daughter entered kindergarten, Jennifer was spending many hours volunteering in her classroom. This is where she discovered her love of teaching. She returned to school and earned her teaching degree through The University of Phoenix. During this same time, she was hired to work as a kindergarten aid. She spent three years working with kindergartners and loving every minute of it.

Jennifer has been teaching for nine years now, and spent her first five years of teaching in 2nd grade. She loved working with these students. She has spent the past four years in 4th grade. She loved working in 4th grade. This year she will be teaching Science in 5th grade. She enjoys having previous students back in her classroom and looks forward to that this upcoming school year as well.

Jennifer is married to a wonderful man, Jeff. Together they have five awesome children (and partners), Brett and Tiffany, Shianne, Jessica, Hope and Michael, and Mikell. Brett and Tiffany are expecting their first child in October. Jennifer can't wait to be a Grandma! Her family means everything to her and she feels so lucky to have had their support while she completed her education. As a family, they love to see plays and concerts, go camping, play games, and hang out with extended family. Jennifer is looking forward to watching her family as they continue to grow. They bring her so much joy.

There are many different things Jennifer enjoys doing, including reading and listening to books, crocheting, baking, trying new recipes for dinner, going to movies, and just being home with her family. Last summer, she traveled across the United States going through 16 different states.
