Biography

I have been part of the Hawthorn Family since it opened in 2009. I have six children that are proud Hawthorn Eagles, 3 graduates and 3 currently attend Hawthorn Academy. I have been greatly involved in the school through many different avenues. From being in the classroom, attending field trips, being on committees, cheering on sports teams and supporting all school functions, I have seen first-hand how awesome Hawthorn Academy is!

I am a busy mom, but love being with my family and enjoying life together. We enjoy the outdoors, sports, dance, church activities, camping, movie nights, playing games and taking walks together. We balance life together and try to make the world a better place by gaining a good education, serving in our community and church, and looking for the good in others.

I am extremely vested in Education and support the mission and vision of Hawthorn Academy. It encompasses many great values and creates an outstanding environment for learning and growth. I am excited to join the amazing Board and help continue the great legacy of Hawthorn Academy.
