Biography

My name is Nicol Navarrete. The kids call me Mrs. N.  I have been at Hawthorn Academy for 8 years teaching 2nd grade. I graduated form BYU with my Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology. I always wanted to be a teacher. After my three kids were all in school I went back to WGU and got my teaching license.  Last year I completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through WGU also.  I have three children, one teenage dog. I love hiking, reading, trying new adventures.  I love being a teacher and working with our future leaders, inventors, and inquirers.
