I grew up in Oregon near a small town on my family's farm and vineyard, where I spent most of my time playing outside with my siblings and many cousins. After High School I went to Oregon State University to get my Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Sciences, and Minors in Spanish and Business Entrepreneurship. For one of my summers in college, I studied abroad in Costa Rica, where I truly learned to embrace the Spanish Language and culture. Throughout college, I also managed to find time to travel abroad on backpacking trips across Europe, Iceland, Thailand, and parts of Mexico. After graduating I went on to pursue my Masters Degree in School Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I finished my graduate degree and began searching for a job during a pandemic, which was super fun...but here we are! I am your new school counselor, and so excited to be joining such a great team of educators and learners. I am new to Utah and am loving living here so far! Outside of school I love traveling, exploring the outdoors, staying active with sports, meeting new people, and going to farmers markets! Most of my free time is spent rock climbing, doing yoga, hanging out with my plants and my dog, cooking yummy food, or playing board games with friends.
