Biography

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing Education with a minor in Business Information Systems from Utah Valley University and a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Western Governors University. I started at Hawthorn Academy in 2015 as a CTE teacher. I am a life-long learner and am committed to both personal and professional growth and development. Over the years I have helped teachers implement Canvas and digital tools in their classrooms. I have also worked with the school on our accreditation process and plan as well as served on teams reviewing other school’s accreditation processes. I love collaborating with the staff and supporting them in their pathway of professional growth and implementing effective practices that will foster student growth.
