Biography

I have worked at Hawthorn Academy since 2017 at both campuses. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I also attended Rick's College and received an Associates in Arts and Science in Elementary Education. I am currently working on my Masters Degree at Southern Utah University. 

This year is going to see a lot of fun changes at Hawthorn. We are beginning a House System with four different Houses that students will be sorted into. I was sorted into Reveur. We are also going to be focusing a lot on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) which I am really excited about. 

I was born in Alabama and have lived in every time zone. I have four amazing children and one granddaughter of my own and can't wait to have the honor of teaching yours! Please feel free to drop in to volunteer any time or contact me about anything. My classroom door is always open.
